K.S.Driving Instructors
Driving instructors must be registered with the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). The teaching standard of a driving instructor is regularly assessed by the DVSA. Grades are issued after these assessments. Try to choose an instructor on recommendations, don’t just go for the cheapest. KS Driving School abide by the “Industry Code of Practice“.
The Driving Tests – Practical and Theory
The driving test consists of theory and practical tests. You must pass the theory test before you can apply for the practical test. The theory test includes multiple choice questions and hazard perception testing. You must pass both parts of the theory test and the practical test to obtain a full licence.
Newly Qualified Drivers
Newly qualified drivers have a probationary period of two years which starts from the day they pass their practical test. If in that period, they commit offences which incur a total of 6 penalty points or more the courts will revoke their licence. This includes offences such as driving while using a mobile phone, speeding, having bald tyres on their car as well as other offences. They will then have to apply and pay for another provisional licence and then go on to retake both the theory and practical tests.
10 Hours Driving Lesson Packages for Everyone what ever stage you are at
FROM £380 for 10 Hours Monday to Friday. Weekends or Evenings after 5 £420
Beginner Driving Lessons – 10 Hour Package
Our fantastic beginner driving lesson package offers 10 hours of tuition from £380 for lessons before 6pm. For evening lessons after 6pm or weekend availability, the package is £420, with regular lesson slots secured.
The 10 hours are usually taken as five double lessons (2 hours each). We recommend this lesson length, particularly in the early stages of learning, as it allows you to build confidence and progress through your driving course more quickly.
Please note that availability of this offer may vary depending on your area.
The full 10 hours are paid for upfront, and once booked you can arrange as many lessons per week as your instructor has available. You will always receive at least one lesson per week, and we strongly recommend taking lessons regularly to help maintain steady progress.
Lessons are not restricted to the same time slot each week. We believe that gaining experience driving at different times of the day and in varying traffic conditions is essential for becoming a confident driver.
From the moment you sit in the car, you’ll be actively learning and on the move, progressing at a pace that suits you.
